Haven't talked much about training lately, which is mostly because I haven't done any lately.
I ran the Rock 'n Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon over Labor Day with friends. I'd been having problems with pain in my shin and thought it could be a stress fracture. That race pretty much confirmed it. My orthopedic doc checked me out and put me in a boot for six weeks so it could heal.
Now I'm out of the boot and can return to running very very slowly. I'm looking forward to it!!
